  1. “Eliciting smiles.”

Yes, most definitely, Debbie! Isn’t is something how that whenever you look at flower, you smile? :)

Over the weekend, I took a train trip out to Collingswood, NJ for the day. It’s a charming little town only 18 mins outside of Philadelphia. I spent the whole day smiling at all the colorful flowers in full bloom :)

    Isn’t nature, grand?

Have a great week, my friend! X

    • Philadelphia is that close to NJ?? Why didn’t I know that? Your trip sounds delightful, and I do love traveling by train. Here’s hoping we’ll get to see some of the beautiful flowers you saw there (hint hint!)

You’re so right — Nature is grand! All we have to do is keep our eyes and ears open for the glories she freely offers!!

Have a wonderful week, my friend! xo

  2. I read this early this morning, and loved it. The flowers are beautiful, and they certainly were a nice, refreshing start to a day I knew was going to be hot. Thanks for the flowers, and thanks for the smiles!

    • You’re most welcome, Linda. It’s a treat knowing that my little post has brightened your hot world for a while — here’s hoping you can share in our cool front soon! (though, sad to say, it didn’t cool us much, ha!)

    • Thanks, Dawn. I don’t really “grow” these either. They just spring up every summer along the fence and die out at first frost. I love that they don’t ask anything of me in the way of tending (water, fertilizer, etc.), yet offer so much for free!
