Okay, writers tend to be very private people, but I’ve been told that successful writers reach out to others and “let them in,” so to speak.

With that in mind, I’m going to take a deep breath and offer a glimpse of who I am (keeping in mind, of course, that I always have the privilege of hitting the Delete button if this doesn’t go well!)

  1. Hi Debbie!

So nice to hear from you and read your blog! Congratulations on doing that. It is still swimmimg around in my head but I know I have to do it and I will keep you posted!. I am on facebook so that’s a start!

Cincy was awesome and I am thrilled we can stay in touch!

    Have a good day

    Kathy Pooler (breakfast buddy!)

      • Thanks Debbie for the encouragement! As soon as I can find “two-seconds” to rub together I will work on it..eventually all the ideas swirling in my head will have to make it to this Blog in the Sky! Will keep you posted

    • Ooh, you have a Sheltie, too? Furbulous! My Darling Doggie Dallas thanks you for the compliment — right now, he needs his mama to run a brush through his furs and do a bit of trimming, but as you can see, she’s playing on the Internet. First things first, huh? Thanks for reading, and I’m off to check out your blog right now.

  3. Hi Debbie, nice to find you out here!
You just described my perfect day (sunny, breezy, 70’s) and oh how I wanted to be on Jeopardy when I was a kid and thought I knew everything there was worth knowing. (Smarter now, and I know how little I truly do know, lol).
    Nice to meet you,

    • Christy, thank you for stopping by and letting me know you did! I’m always glad to see new “faces” in my blog’s world — and to welcome back repeat friends. Jeopardy still is fun for me (must be the writer in me!); I love those shows when the categories are right up my alley and I can guess the right answers. Do feel free to visit again (and now I’m hopping over to your place to see what you’ve been posting).

      • I’ve added you to my Feedly, so I’ll be sure to drop by again. I noticed also that you’re a college ball fan–me too! This was a great weekend for me, because my beloved GA Bulldogs didn’t lose! Yay! (well, they didn’t play either, but that’s beside the point.)

I found you via HippieCahier’s blog–was drawn to your avatar and your mention of music. I’m a big dog lover and music lover too.

Thanks for the visit, and I’ll be seeing you soon.

        Take care,

        • I’m an SEC gal, too — Ole Miss Rebels! We haven’t played y’all in years, but I know just what you mean. It’s always a great weekend when our guys don’t lose!! Thanks for letting me know you arrived via the Hipster.

  4. Oh you have a Sheltie!!! I love Shelties!!! And you like tea!!!! Another thing in common since I have a massive teapot collection and do all things tea!!! I KNEW Katybeth would not steer me wrong!!!! Great to meet you!

    • I’m happy to meet you, too, Beth Ann! I’d love to see your teapot collection. Tea is so comforting in any kind of weather, although sadly, I can’t drink it cold. Upsets my stomach, for some odd reason. Dallas says thank you for the compliment, and he’s glad to find a new friend online!

    • Wow, Morgan, thank you for this honor! I hadn’t heard of this one before. You’ve piqued my interest, and now I’ll have to check out the award’s rules (they always have rules, don’t they?)

    • Well, hey, nice to “meet” you! South Bend is beautiful — well, the campus is, at least — but their weather can be frightful in winter months. I’ll hop on over and read some of your posts.
