Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
— Irish blessing
Happy St Patrick’s Day, Debbie! We could all be doing with a blessing and some of the luck of the Irish at the moment. Have a great day! 😀 ☘
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you, too, my friend! Low-key celebrations are in order right now, but that’s a hardship we’ll endure for our — and others’ — safety.
Hope you have a wonderful day, Debbie!
Thanks so much, Captain — Happy Luck o’ the Irish Day to you and yours!
HaPpY St. Patrick’s Day to you, Debbie!! ☘️🤗☘️
Happy St. Paddy’s Day to you and yours, Virginia — stay healthy and wash those hands!!
Happy St Patrick’s Day, Debbie! I LOVE the picture of the clover. And as you know, GREEN is my favorite color.
Have a super day, my friend! X
Happy St. Patrick’s Day right back at you, Ron! That clover is actually my Shamrock plant. Up until a few days ago when I had to re-pot it, it even had tiny white flowers. Now it’s a bit droopy, but I’m sure it will perk up before long.
Hope you’re staying safe out there! xo
Happy St. Patrick’s to you! We never have celebrated it much, more so I guess when I was at work and people brought in green treats. I haven’t done anything today, but I’m quite content to just be home enjoying my birds and listening to music.
Yep, there’s something peaceful about being home, away from the madness. And if we turn off our TV sets, our hearts can beat calmly without anxiety over the virus-thingy.
Thank you, Debbie. The blessing was swell. 😀
You’re most welcome, John. This is probably the least-celebrated St. Paddy’s Day I can remember. No parades, no bars or restaurants open. Whatever it takes to keep everyone safe though.
I agree. As a Scot it wasn’t a big holiday for me anyway.
😉
I almost missed St. Patrick’s Day — all of the concerns about the virus, and consequences for work, and general chaos just have me off my game a bit. That said, I love the blessing, and at least I managed to post some green on Lagniappe, even if I forgot to wear some!
Bless you, Linda. I’ve been off my game, too, most of this year — Dallas’s passing hit me hard, and having to hole up and wait for this virus to blow over is inconvenient. Nice to work at home these days, but I miss my dog underneath.
I understand that. Dixie Rose never got underfoot, but whenever I hit the computer, she’d jump up on the sofa and keep an eye on me to be sure I tended to business!
Dallas used to snooze on my surge protector, occasionally cutting the thing off and leaving me wondering where the power to my laptop had gone. We were both blessed I was able to work from home and spend so much time together.
