In brilliant shades of bronze,

Debbie, I loved that part of the quote because as you know, I am SO NOT a fan of summer. Therefore, when Autumn finally arrives, I am SO happy.
Your DAZZLING photos put a huge smile on my face this morning while having my cup of coffee.
Being that I live in a city, I haven’t seen this kind of glorious color as of yet. However, whenever I travel to the burbs for work, I notice the color change much more.

Autumn is my very favorite season, too, Ron! I like Spring, but too often, it’s marred by thunderstorms and tornadoes.
I’m happy you enjoyed my trees. I was afraid I wasn’t going to see much color this year, but Mother Nature proved me wrong — yeah! Happy Fall to you, my friend. XX

TD, thank you so much for stopping by to enjoy my trees! Our weather is delightful — if you discount the wind, which is blowing all the downed leaves from yard to yard. Good for you and Yorkie, getting in a nice walkie. The Monk does so much better when I can tire him out, ha!

Look who got lucky! Those are beautiful trees, and a lovely etheree to celebrate them. The variety of colors is just stunning; that’s what a ‘real’ autumn is supposed to look like! I just looked at our forecast, and by golly, we may get a dose of something resembling fall at last. An incoming front on Sunday is going to drop our lows to the 40s and highs to the 60s. It might be time to drag out the flannel sheets and wash them!

I’m glad you enjoyed them, Linda. I saw something on The Weather Channel that I didn’t know: the same tree, from year to year, can display differently based on weather conditions (how much rain and when it arrives, how much cold, too). Some scientific photographer captured the same tree over several years, and it was amazing how it seemed to change from red/orange to yellow/bronze. Who knew?? I’m glad y’all are finally going to get some cooling, too — hot chocolate and a good book might be in order, along with that flannel!
