Is not this a beautiful morning? The sun shines into my soul. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne, American novelist and short story writer

What gorgeous colors! It’s the color of spring flowers; at least you have that until the actual flowers appear!
Thanks, Linda. The clouds rolled in right after I captured this photo, but later in the afternoon, we had a peek of sunshine. It’s Monday that promises to be bitterly cold though. Sigh.
🤩 Lovely!
Thank you, Eliza. I’m happy you enjoyed it!
Indeed it is, what a subtle, pretty sunrise!
I suppose that’s one consolation for enduring winter, huh? Getting some exceptionally pretty sunrises and sunsets.
Beautiful!! You know I love a sunrise/sunset!
Thanks, Kelly. I’m glad you liked it. At least there’s no snow on the ground … right now, anyway!
A very beautiful morning! We missed it. Someone let me sleep in until 8!
You’re lucky — mine gets me up at 5! And he’s been on Prednisone for his itchies, so that means I get to take him on extra potty breaks overnight. Lots of fun here.
awwww man. So far she just gets me up for breakfast.
Debbie, yes, it might be a silent Sunday post. However, your gorgeous photograph speaks loud and clear – STUNNING SUNDAY!
Glorious capture, my friend!
Hope you and The Monk are having a fantabulous day!
X to you both!
Thanks for the compliment, Ron — I’m glad you enjoyed the sunrise. I suppose a red sky in the morning isn’t good news (if you like a clear, pretty day), but we did get a few peeks of sunshine, so there’s that.
Right now, it’s 13 degrees and feels like -5. Far too cold to enjoy anything outdoors … for me or the Monk.
Hope you have a lovely week! XX
Nice!!! We had an absolute gorgeous weather day here! My therapy sitting outside in the sun on the patio listening to the peaceful quiet and a few song birds. Added smiles watching a squirrel sit on my fence rail watching me with curiosity watching it with my binoculars.
Sorry that Monkey is still having the itches and has to take prednisone the miracle medicine. Hopefully you both will feel relief soon.
You’ve painted such a nice picture, TD: sitting on your sunny patio and watching squirrel antics. Yorkie must not mind sharing you with them! The Monk has never met a squirrel he won’t chase, even going right up to the fence and barking at them when they’re in my neighbor’s yard. Silly pup!
Monkey is quite an entertainer! Gotta love him!!
Fingers crossed that the weather doesn’t get too too too cold. 🤞
A beautiful sunrise, Debbie. You caught it so well
Thanks, John. I’m happy to share it here. Now, if I could share this frigid weather, I’d be all set!
Send it somewhere else, please.
What’s the sun? Asking for a dark northern country… 😉
Aw, I don’t think I could live without seeing the sun … a LOT! Cold, windy, gray days turn me into a hibernating bear.
So soft and lovely. 🙂
Thanks, Robin. Good to hear from you again, and I hope all’s well in your corner of the world!
We’re in the middle of a snow storm right now!
Stay indoors, stay safe, stay warm! We’ve had approximately 12 inches of snow in two days now. At least it’s snow and not ice!!
