Happy Easter!

I’ve got a case of the lazies right now (let’s just call it Spring Fever!). It’s hard to be inside working when the sunshine is calling, birds are chirping, and nature beckons.

Anyway, with Domer home for a short spell and all the church obligations I need to participate in over the weekend, I decided I’d take the easy way out and post some spring pictures. You enjoy pretty pictures now and then, don’t you?

Here’s hoping everyone has a beautiful Easter!

I think this is a rhododendron

No clue what this is, but it's a mass of lilac-colored blooms!

    • Thanks for the compliments! I had to leave my Sheltie inside while I was taking the pictures, or he’d have insisted he be in every one!

  1. Happy Easter to you and yours!
Ah, I love Dogwoods…Virginia’s state tree.
Love the pictures of your spring blooms!

    • Thanks, Suzi — didn’t realize the dogwood is Virginia’s state tree. We had a pink one, but it didn’t make it. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!

  2. Debbie, I’m glad you get to spend some time with Domer! The Spring photos are beautiful. I took one look at the one with the azaleas, and just sighed. They are beautiful! Happy Easter! 🙂

    • Thanks, Bella, and I’m glad you enjoyed them. They’re beautiful at this time of year! I wish Domer could stay longer — he needs a longer rest!

  3. You’ve got the right idea. Take pictures and spend time with family. I, for one, love the pictures. I could never get tired of looking at blooms 🙂 And about being lazy…as of right now, I don’t have a Sunday post. I may not have one at all…depends on if inspiration strikes or not!

    Happy Easter!

    • Sometimes we all need to take a breather from blogging, Janna — I wouldn’t fault you at all for it! This IS a holiday, after all, a day that shouts family time (and with my son only home for three days, I want to enjoy every minute of it!) Hope your day is wonderful!

    • That I am, and I hope you are, too! It’s a bit on the cool side, but there’s not a cloud in sight. I’m forcing myself to do a bit of work because I’ll “lose” tomorrow transferring Domer back to ND.

  4. I spent today out at one of my favorite parks. Lovely spring day. I always enjoy pictures of pretty flowers….but of COURSE your Sheltie would insist on being in every one. The world DOES revolve around him…doesn’t it? 🙂
