A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song. ~Chinese Proverb
There once sat a bird on a wire
Who wondered if he shouldn’t go higher.
Three pals came along
Each singing a song
And so they became a choir.

A cute combination of image and words. I do enjoy watching birds on their wires. They seem determined to keep the spaces between them ‘just right’ — no creeping closer!
What puzzles me, Linda, is how they ALL end up facing the same direction! You’d think the bird kingdom would spawn a rebel or two, wouldn’t you — somebody who, just for the kick of it, would face the opposite direction (and possibly brag on the interesting things he’s seeing just to get the masses to turn his way?!?)
We all need to be the first to start a song.
Especially if it makes other people happy!
Hahaha, Very good, Debbie.
Thanks, John — glad you enjoyed it!
Debbie, between your clever limerick and FANTASTIC photograph, this post put a huge smile 🙂 on my face.
Well done, my friend. Well done!
Hope you had a fantastic weekend! X
Aw, gee, thanks, Ron — glad to have put a smile on your face! Everybody should start the workweek with happiness. Stay safe in all that snow and ice! xo
I LOVED THAT POEM!!!!! …..and picture.
Thanks so much, Tanya! I’d like to think these birds were telling me that spring is right around the corner, but the weatherman says not so fast!
