What a delightful photo! I wonder now and then how my life would have been different if I’d had a sister or brother, but you’ve clearly profited, and I’m so glad. Happy birthday to your sister, and happy life together to you both!
Thank you, Linda. It hasn’t been all beaches and chocolate, but it has definitely been interesting, ha! And I think there have been times when each of us has wished to be an only child, too. I guess we all wish for what we never had. Personally, I think your early life sounds idyllic!
Great photo and message on your sister’s birthday, Debbie.
Thank you, John!
😁
Lovely.
Savor those times together, Dear! xx
I intend to, Kim. None of us ever knows how long they’ll last, right?? xo
OMG Debbie, the photograph of you and your sister is absolutely PRECIOUS, PRICELESS, and ADORABLE? Don’t ya just love black and white photos? There is something very special about the “energy” that exudes from them. They speak without actually saying anything.
Hope you and your sister are having a faaaaaaabulous day together!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR, SISTER! XX
Thanks, Ron. You’re right — there’s something special about a black-and-white picture. Perhaps it makes our brain work a bit harder, imagining the colors and textures, and perhaps our brains need that exercise!
Are you getting this muggy weather and heat wave? Must be beastly being in all that concrete. Hope you can find a cool spot (maybe near that fountain I so enjoy your photos of?!?) xx
Cuties!
Aw, gee … thanks, Cindy!
Hehe – love the pic! Which one is you? Yep, sibling relationships can take a bit of work sometimes but they’re worth it in the end. Happy Birthday to your sister. 😀
Monica (below) guessed correctly — I’m the taller one (and still am!!) Thanks for joining in birthday greetings to my sis, FF.
What a great pic! You’re the taller one, right? I think that’s you. I absolutely love that quote and can TOTALLY relate!
Good guess, Monica, and you’re spot on. In fact, my sis never grew to my height (guess she took after the shorter members in my family tree). Isn’t that a wonderful quote? It sure was true for us, and I’ve seen it true for lots of siblings.
