Nearly Wordless Wednesday

If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies. ~Author Unknown

7:20 a.m.

As
Sunlight
Appears, we
Can see changes
In our surroundings.
Twenty minutes apart:
And the leaves begin to glow.
The sky becomes a denim blue,
And color washes over our world.
A new day has dawned for us to enjoy.

7:51 a.m.

We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover our own special light.  ~Evelyn Dunbar, British artist, illustrator, and teacher

  1. Beautiful, Debbie, absolutely BEAUTIFUL–your words, your photographs, and quotes; particularly the one about butterflies. So true!

    Happy mid-week, my friend! X

    • Thanks so much, Ron! I’m glad you enjoyed it and stopped by to tell me so. I love butterflies and am disappointed my Sedum didn’t seem to attract many this year. I hope that’s not a harbinger of what’s to come. Enjoy that nice cool spell we’re sending you! xo

    • Thank you, Barbara — I’m delighted you enjoyed them! Now that we’ve got more daylight these mornings, who knows what beauty we might capture?

  2. Debbie, your post resonated mightily with this redhead, beautifully apt for today. The Evelyn Dunbar quote is going straight in my journal. Many MANY thanks! 💐✨🤗✨💐

    • Isn’t that a great quote, Virginia? I read it and knew it would be perfect for my post today. I’m glad others agree with the decision — thanks for your lovely words of praise!
