Azalea in bloom

Mom

just got

released from

the rehab place

in time for her to

celebrate Mother’s Day.

All moms are a blessing and

shouldn’t have to be apart from

loved ones on this special occasion.

Happy Mother’s Day from my house to yours!

    • Thanks, Linda. She’s glad to be home, where the food is prepared to her liking, and she doesn’t have to “suffer” nurses and aides coming in and out of her room at all hours, ha!

        • Or a facility that, not so long ago, was rife with COVID cases. In fact, she got out just in time, as another resident recently tested positive. I hear that resident wanted to “escape” with family and friends for a day, then returned “home” bearing the virus. Grr!

    • Thank you so much, Ron. I’m glad you liked them. It’s been so COLD here of late that I’m rather surprised the Azalea is even blooming at all. Enjoy the week ahead! xx

  1. So glad you can celebrate Mother’s Day with your mom @ home. Hope she is doing better, Debbie! Treasure the memories you are making now… I love the quote! I’ll never forget my mama reaching her spindly arms up for a hug when she couldn’t even speak the last week of hospice: an indelible hug of her love! Mother’s Day blessings to you! 💐✨💐✨

    • Happy Mother’s Day right back atcha, Virginia! We’re indeed blessed at having loving mothers. I realize not everyone is fortunate enough to have a good relationship with their mom, but those of us who do/did are grateful. Hugs!
