“May God bless you at Easter,
and keep you all year through.
May God give you all the faith you need,
to make your dreams come true.
May His love and wisdom always help,
to guide you on your way.
May His light shine down upon you now,
to bless your Easter Day.” — Irish Prayer, Author Unknown
Note: A blessed Easter to you and yours!
Yes, Debbie, those tulips and daffodils are so beautiful! I also love the white picket fence. Flowers always make me smile 🙂
Thanks so much for not only the flowers, but for sharing the poem as well. It’s so uplifting!
Happy Easter, dear friend! X
Thank you, Ron, and Happy Easter to you, too! Actually, I’d hoped to get a bit closer to show the details of these flowers, but I really liked the fence in the background so I left it as is. Glad you enjoyed it! xo
HaPpY Easter Debbie! May God’s Light continue to bless you with extra doses of love, peace, grace, hope & Easter Joy. ✨☀️🙏☀️✨🌸✨
Hope is good, Virginia — especially now. And so are the other “doses” you listed — thank you so much! Blessings on you today and always!
Happy Easter to you too!
Happy Easter to you and yours, Dawn. Did you do an egg hunt for the Princess? I was scrolling through photos on my phone the other day and cried all over again when I saw the ones from Dallas’s egg hunt (https://domermom.com/2017/05/04/egg-hunt-2017/) three years ago. Time passes much too quickly when you love a dog!
What a touching prayer. The Irish blessings and prayers are especially appealing to me — perhaps because I have some Irish in me! I hope your Easter is a blessed one, and that your joy increases throughout the Easter season, Debbie!
I’m happy you liked it, Linda. I do gravitate to Irish blessings. My ancestors certainly had a way with words, likely thanks to the Blarney Stone, ha! Blessings to you for a wonderful Easter and a safe, healthy rest of the year.
Thank you, Debbie. Bless you as well.
Easter joy to you and yours, John!
God Bless you & Happy Easter Debbie ໒( ♥ ◡ ♥ )७
Thank you, Cindy! Here’s hoping we’ll all get through this pandemic unscathed and that a preventative will be discovered soon!
Happy Easter, Debbie! A strange and difficult one this year, for sure, but I hope you managed to enjoy it.
“Strange and difficult” describe it well. Watching church services online — in blue jeans, no less! — is just not the same as celebrating with my extended family. Nevertheless, spring is coming and signs are slowly appearing that we *might* be gaining on this virus, so all’s good. And I can have chocolate again, woo-hoo!
Happy Easter to you and your family. Beautiful and touching poem. I was waiting for your spring flower pictures!
Happy Easter to you and yours, Tanya. Spring is tarrying a bit here, so I’m having to wait until it’s warmer to get outside and take photos. Today is in the 40s, with a stiff wind that makes it feel like the 20s — brr!!
