Spring is Coming…Really!

Yes, the calendar still says Winter, but some of us (including me) are longing for Springtime. And despite Juno, Linus, and all those ridiculously-named winter storms, Mother Nature is preparing for a new season.

Domer is finally home for the holidays!
One of our favorite places to get in the Christmas spirit — ever since he was little — is an immense lighting display put on by our community’s tourism office at a local park.
Nearly Wordless Thursday

An almost perfect full moon in a pink and purple sky. I thought it too lovely not to share!
Today we have spitting rain, blustery winds, and grey skies. Can Ole Man Winter be far behind?
Why doesn’t Fall stick around a lot longer?
By the way, November’s full moon is referred to as the Full Beaver Moon, or the Frosty Moon, take your pick.

Is anybody tired of seeing Fall photos? I hope not, for this is my favorite time of year, and I can’t resist adding a few more to the collections already on the Internet.
We’ve been especially fortunate here in Central Illinois at having a spectacular showing of color put on by Mother Nature. The reds, yellows, oranges, and golds really stand out when the grass is so green. And it’s green thanks to all the rain we had during the Spring and Summer months.
So let’s not wait another minute — come with me on a jaunt around the area and please enjoy the scenery!
A Magical Season So Far
It’s not easy being a fan.
Fans rally around their chosen sports teams, cheering them on from near and far, unable to affect the outcome of a game, often left despondent by a win that slipped through their very fingers.

I don’t particularly like spiders, but as a web designer, I’ve grown accustomed to them over the years, and I find them and their habits fascinating.

And since I didn’t know too much about them (other than a name), I figured that was as good as any excuse to do a bit of research.

I know, I know. Both are good for you. Both contain teeny amounts, if any, of saturated and trans fat. Both are cholesterol-free, relatively low in calories, and chock-full of nutrients.
But, assuming you could only have one or the other, which would you choose?
